Match Report Panorama completed a fantastic end of the season by extending the unbeaten run to the final, and winning the coveted trophy for the second time in three years after finally getting the better of Balfour in another epic final.

If 2 years ago Panorama won against Linhill in the dying minutes of the exta time, this time 120 minutes weren't enough to separate the two teams.

The match was one of the more nervous contests in recent memory, when good football was replaced by injuries, errors and nerve of steels.

Coach Kelly (now the most decorated coach in Panorama's recent history, with his 3rd major trophy), decided to start with a cautios 4-4-2, knowing that with some players not available (Stoychev and Almeida) it was better to approach the game that was going to be difficult with some essential defending.

After a nervous first 20 minutes, it was a freekick from Veldon (fouled just outside the area) that opened the account. His powerful but central shot surprised the keeper who could not cope with the swerve of the ball. Panorama though lost a bit on concentration towards the end of the first half, when Balfour managed to draw level with a tapin from a counter attack.

In the darkest moment of the game, Panorama lost Atkinson, the defending central engine of the team, for an injury, together with Veldon and Olgiati, who needed treatments.

In the second half Panorama attacked more, but the keeper was seldom involved. Olgiati had two good chances but could not convert with his left foot, and Wills hit the bar with a powerful header. In the back, Pereira, Robson, Dixon and Morris managed somehow to keep Balfour under control. Jeanes took care of saving any ball that managed to pass the back four.

With the game stuck on the 1-1, it was time to enter the extra-time. With players getting tired, the spaces opened, and Panorama tried to exploit them, but could not get close to scoring a winner.

The central pairing of midfielders kept changing around Harris, who saw Wills, Kennedy , Lewis and Thornton all taking their turn in assisting him. Miles made an appeareance to replace the tired Thornton, and finally, with few minutes to go, Panorama got rewarded with a goal that came from another fantastic free kick by Veldon, who totally fooled the keeper hitting a sweet right footed from the right side.

Unfortunately the celebrations did not last long, and incredibly Balfour managed to find the 2-2 with one desperate last assault, tapping in from a free kick.

And so it was time for the penalties. Veldon scored the 1-0, and Jeanes saved straight away their first penalty. Harris and Thornton both scored, and so did Balfour. Olgiati missed his penalty, saved by their keeper, but Jeanes produced another great performance by saving yet another penalty. It was finally Dixon's turn to score and start the celebration for another great night to remember for Panorama.
