Panorama FC won the Vets League Cup on Wednesday night  day by beating Linhill 2-1 in a tight contest at the Sporting F.C. neutral grounds.

After finishing 3rd in the league, just one point behind Linhill, this was a great way to finish the end of the season on a high note. After a nervous start by both side in the first half, Panorama got close to score with Veldon and Thonton. Linhill resorted to play long balls to keep the pressure away, but Jeanes, Panorama's keeper, kept the situation under control.

In the dying minute of the first half Panorama broke the deadlock: a quick combination between Kennedy, Olgiati and Veldon let Thornton slot from 20 yards.

In the second half Linhill tried to score to level the contest, getting more desperate by the minute, but the Panorama's back four worked hard enough to prevent an equalizer. Abotu 10 minutes before stoppage time Linhill found an unexpected goal: after a corner wasn't dealt properly, their midfielder found the top corner with a shot from outside the area.

But just when the game was expected to go on extra-time, Panorama, with a quick counter attack, had one last chance to score: Almeida found Olgiati, running on the right wing, who controlled the ball, beat the marker and then the keeper to seal Panorama's victory!

With the game over it was time to celebrate, with Mike Kelly lifting the cup and giving Panorama and their supporters a night to remember
