Match Report In another great performance to add to the growing collection of highlights from the past few years, Panorama beat Bosmont Old Boys, a team full of ex-pros and desperate to chip points away in the table.

Coach Robson started with a super solid 4-5-1, with a strong and physical back 4 with himself, Gerrard and the Smith brothers that from the start gave zero chances to Bosmont.

The midfield added more tackles thanks to the box-to-box running of Bailey (providing at least 2 decisive clean tackles to prevent dangerous chances), the commanding presence of DIxon and Kibble and the constant running of Goncalves and Benites.

McGowan was maybe a little isolated up front, but nonetheless Panorama managed to score in the first opening minutes thanks to a McGowan- Kibble combination. Bosmont's best chance happened when they hit the post from the distance, but apart from that Panorama controlled the game.

Eventually Bosmont upped the pressure, but exposed themselves to counter attacks, that Panorama exploited by scoring the 2-0 with again a nice Kibble  / McGowan combo. Bosmont pulled one back with a dodgy penalty, but Panorama scored the 3-1 thanks to Kibble's towering header from Bailey's free kick.

Bosmont pushed with all their players and scored the 3-2, but it wasn't enough. After losing their cool (which they didn't have to start with anyway) the referee decided to end the game a little earlier, annoyed by the constant bickering of the away team.

Overall a great result for Panorama, pushing for an unprecedented win in this league.

Stats from the game
  • This was Panorama's 18th consecutive positive results in a stretch that started in July last year
  • This was also Panorama's 9th consecutive win across 2 seasons, matching their best streak ever
  • The 2 goals scored by Bosmont were the first 2 conceded by Panorama in 2020. Panorama have still the best defense and the second best attack of the league.
