Match Report Panorama almost suffered a shock results but somehow managed to recover and win another important game.

Coach Robson started the team with a 4-5-1, with the intention of dominating the midfield and scoring an early game. The first chance came after 2 minutes, with De Leo controlling the ball on the right and finding Olgiati who just needed to tap-in from 3 meters. Unfortunately, while Olgiati's mind was already celebrating the goal, his foot decided to betray him, denying him the easiest of the goals by smashing the ball way above the post.

Panorama continued to push, looking for that first goal, but were incredible punished in the space of 5 minutes with two quick goals by Old Parks, making as usual life difficult on what was supposed to be an easy night. Olgiati could have amended for his earlier mistake, but twice he failed to score in front of the keeper. Robson also hit the post and few times the poor Goncalves was found offside when he probably wasn't.

Eventually Dixon took care of scoring duties by smashing a volley from Almeida's corner. Old Parks started to struggle with Panorama's pressure, and towards the end of the first half it was another beatuiful volley by DeLeo (from Bailey's assist)  that evened the score.

In the second half Old Parks was only waiting to capitulate, with Panorama's passing getting more precise. After hitting the posts once again, finally Panorama found the 3-2 when Olgiati connected with Bailey's for a quick one-two and finally (finally!) managed to score.

The last 20 minutes were all Panorama, with only the keeper and the posts denying more goals. Olgiati hit the post after a fantastic save by the keeper with a header, and few chances were wasted in the last third. Goncalves, taking advantage of his speed, passed few players and, when his cross was stopped with a handball, managed to get a penalty. Miles took care of converting with his usual coolness for the final 4-2.

Bailey probably scored when the ball crossed the line, but one of Old Parks' defenders kicked the ball away before the referee noticed the mistake.

Overall it was a laboured win for Panorama, but nonetheless the 8th win in 10 games, maybe not enough to stay on top, but enough to show the other teams that they are one of the best teams in the league...

Some stats from the game:
  • This was the 10th game between the 2 teams. Panorama won 8 of them (scoring 32, conceding 11)
  • Bailey provided his 4th and 5th assists of the year, putting him in the top 3 of the current season (only Almeida and Benites provided more assists), and one short of the overall top 10
  • Miles finally scored after 226 days, adding to his 11 previous goals over the years
  • With only one possible game left, Bailey will now definitely top the table for most played minutes in this season (with Jeanes and Robson just behind)
