Panorama reached the first final in 3 years by beating Maritimo at home with a score that doesn't really do justice to the domination of the home team. On a perfect night Panorama started strong, knowing that Maritimo (beaten soundly in the past) would only try to contain the attacks and hope in a mistake by the back four or in penalties. Kelly had most of the players available, and Panorama dominated from the start , testing the Maritimo keeper numerous times. Egbers was very unlucky in finding a keeper at the top of his game, saving at least 4/5 chances than in any other game would have gone in. Benites had few good chances and hit the post, while the rest of the team try their luck from any possible distance, but for some reason it seemed to be one of those games were the ball didn't want to go in. The referee didn't help much, since twice he denied a clear penalty to Panorama, once on Egbers and once on De Leo, and also forgot few red cards when Maritimo's players decided to rely on bad sportmanship. At the end though Dixon took care of the matter. After De Leo was fouled just outside the area, Dixon unleashed a powerful free kick that finally ended up in the net, breaking Maritimo's hopes. It was the right result. Panorama didn't play as well as in the past games, but reaching the final was what they deserved, and they are now 180 minutes away from a double! Some stats:
