Match Report Panorama rediscovered some flair and destroyed Florida in the monday's night catch-up game, restoring the lead in the league by 3 points with a superior goal difference.

With Robson and Smith unavailable, Kelly pushed back Dixon and DeLeo from the midfield to form a solid parternship in the middle, with Jeanes and Lewis on the flanks. The 4-5-1 formation was completed by the returning Egbers up front with Almeida, Benites and Bailet in the middle, covering for Olgiati and Smith's attacking instincts.

The 4-5-1 formation soon turned into a 4-3-3 when attacking, with Smith destroying his marker on the left, and Olgiati doing what he does best: being in the right spot at the right moment for an easy tap-in thanks to Smith's cross from the left. Florida didn't offer much up front , and the few chances they had they were stopped by Panorama's defence. Even when De Leo got sin-binned Florioda didn't take much advantage of the situation, relying on long balls to the isolated strikers.

Smith and Dixon had chances to score more goals in the first half, but in both cases they were unlucky.

In the second half Kelly introduced himself and Goncalves , and Florida found out what happens if Panorama decide to play quick, effective passive football. If somehow they managed to contain their rival in the first half , in the second they had no chance. Egbers scored the second goal (from a similar tap-in like in the first half), while Goncalves scored a quick brace to increase the scoreline to 4-0. Benites bamboozled Florida defensive line to score with a precise shot again from the left, and Miles converted a good chance for the 6-0.

After missing a good chance with an acrobatic dummy volley that deserved a place in the Cirque du Soleil, Olgiati scored the 7-0 with a precise lob after Miles' pass.

Overall it was another win that put Panorama back on track to win the league for the third season in the row. With only few games left (most of them catch-up games) only Lenesia can still have a chance...

Some stats from the game:
  • This was Miles first goal in 201 days (last time was against Randfontein)
  • This was the 9th game in the last 7 years against Florida. Panorama won 6 of them (the last 5 games all were won by Panorama)
  • Thanks to his 3 assists, Ryan Smith is now the leader in the assists table (6, followed by Egbers with 5 and Dixon with 3)
