Match Report Panorama managed to keep on top (with a match in hand and a superior goal difference) after drawing 1-1 at home against Lenesia.

After finishing the last 2 seasons behind Panorama, Lenesia brought all their available players (enough to have 2 teams) in order to try to win an important game. But Panorama was having none of it. Kelly started with a olsid 4-4-2 introducing the new arrival Marco Goncalves on the left. Without Egbers, De Leo and Bailey started up front. Inward played in goals while Jeanes and Lewis started on as left / right backs. The rest of the team was pretty much the same.

Panorama pressed from the start, but the long period spent without playing made its mark during the game, especially in the final third, were crosses and last passes were wasted on the counter attack. Olgiati had a very good chance to score with a volley from a long cross by Goncalves, but his shot went wide. Luckily soon after Bailey scored with a precise lob after a long pass by Jeanes wasn't dealt properly by Lenesia defense.

Panorama kept pressing, but the second goal never came, even when Robson got sin binned at the end of the first half. Olgiati missed from a good position and Dixon's powerful shot from just outside the area was saved by the Lenesia keeper.

In the second half Lenesia, lucky to have survived the first one with only one conceded goal, found some confidence and started pressing a Panorama team that was getting a little tired. Inward produced a fantastic display, stopping Lenesia from scoring with 2 or 3 shot-stopping miracles on the line. Unfortunately Lenesia eventually found the 1-1 with a long range free kick that found the top corner.

Panorama kept pressing but the best efforts were stopped by the posts: Dixon's header and Goncalves' shot. It was one of those games where the ball didn't really want to cross the line.

Overall it was a good performance by Panorama, that stayed on top another week.
