Match Report Panorama finished 2018 with a good win against arch-rival Randburg. After 4 draws in the last 4 matches (including 2 cup games that ended up with Randburg beating Pana at penalties), finally there was a winner, and it was Panorama.

From the start the game was very balanced, with Randburg taking control of the ball and passing around in the midfield, trying to get behind Panorama's solid back four (Dixon, Jeanes and Atkinson helped cope with the absence of Smith and whoever is playing right / left back this season). Kelly modified the formation to a 4-5-1 trying to use the team's quick counterattacks to put pressure on Randburg's weak back four.

Almeida was deployed in his new found free role in the midfield, while Benites and DeLeo took care of stopping Randburg's attacks. From the start Smith and Olgiati on the wings dominated the exchanges,  with Wills up front as a lonely striker to try to get some balls behind.

From a corner, against the run of play, Randburg found the 1-0 with an incredible volley from just outside the area that Vorster and whoever was on the pitch did not expect. But that was the only flash of brilliance from Randburg during the game.

Panorama started attacking with more effort and snatching balls in the midfield, with Randburg caught in possession way too often. Even with Robson sin-binned for a hand ball, Panorama still dominated with quick passing, good running and some great skills on display.

Almeida scored the 1-1 with a tackle/shot from a suicidal play by Randburg's centerback. Few minutes later it was already 2-1 when Smith found Olgiati with an intelligent pass, and Olgiati managed to hook the ball with his right to then score with his left.

Benites and DeLeo had few more chances to score but they were unlucky in the last 10 meters.

The second time offered more of the same. Randburg tried to keep the ball, but Panorama had none of that. Olgiati found Benites with a great lob pass, and Benites scored with a lob. Then from another devastating action on the left, Olgiati scored his third tap-in in the last 3 games thanks to Smith. Eventually there was another brace, this time by Almeida, winning a ball in the midfield and calmly unleashing a precise shot in the top right corner.

Jeanes, deployed up front, had 2 or 3 clean chances to score and make the final result even better, but was unlucky with his finishing.

Overall was one of the best performance of the past few months, putting Panorama back on track to the top.
