Match Report |
Panorama won the second game in a row in the league, against Florida Albion (stretching a winning streak against them to four), on a difficult field (dark and small). Kelly, with a full bench and some returning players, started with a solid 4-4-2, with Veldon and De Leo pairing up front. Olgiati returned in the squad on his usual right side, and Jeanes returned as keeper. From the start Panorama dominated the game, but the small field and the low lights created all sort of problems, adding chaos to the match. After missing some good chances due to bad passing decisions, Panorama found themselves in trouble when, from a corner, were counter-attacked by Florida (probably from an offside position) who scored the first goal of the game. Panorama responsed few minutes later. After Olgiati managed to find some space for a run, his long cross was dealt by Egbers, and eventually after another cross the ball ended up at Almeida's feet, who found the perfect corner with a precise shot from outside the area. In the second half Florida tried to surprise Panorama with long balls, but Robson and Smith dealt with them without any issues. Eventually the game opened a little, with Meroni and Ryan Smith getting more involved on the wings. Panorama finally found the winning goal after a low corner by Egbers was converted with the easiest of the tap-in by Olgiati. Wills scored a 3rd goal, but it was rules offside (it wasn't). Veldon, Meroni and Miles had some golden chances to score more (even when Panorama went down to 10 men due to Dixon getting a sin-bin), but at the end 2 goals were enough to win. ------------------------ Some stats:
