Match Report Panorama returned home with the full 3 points after the usual intense game against Maritimo.

With the list of missing players growing by the day (Stoychev, Meroni, Almeida, Smith, Will and Vorster) and with the departing legend Thornton playing his last game for this season, Kelly decided to play a cautious 4-4-2 to start with on a pitch that in the past gave Panorama troubles.

The first half was exactly what Kelly expected: Panorama dominated the play and Maritimo tried to play dirty in order to disrupt the rhythm of the game. Maritimo managed to play their long passing game for the first 20 minutes, but Panorama was always ready to kill on the counter attack, using the speed on the wings and the precise passing from the midfield, where a returning Harris and Dixon had no problem dictating the game.

After Thornton was forced out with an injury (after playing his last 3 games and struggling), and ending his current Panorama playing days just like Usain Bolton ended his career, Miles was placed up front to pair up with De Leo.

The 1-0 came when Bailey found with a great pass Lewis, who run behid the back four and then scored by beating the keeper with a precise shot. Maritimo, losing fitness and not having much speed up front, was forced to rely on long balls that were easily controlled by Robson, Bailey with the assistance of Atkinson (enjoying his new right back position) and Kelly.

In the second half Panorama raised the level, and took the game to another dimension. Maritimo was leaving enough space and constantly failing at the offside trap, and from a counter attack from a corner, the ball was played by Olgiati to Bailey who just like earlier found a running Lewis who scored a copy of the first goal.

After DeLeo had a chance to make the 3-0, Atkinson gifted the 2-1 with an unlucky own goal, adding to the one he scored last week (and if you add Dixon's against Randburg it makes 3 own goals in the last 3 games!).

Kelly asked Olgiati and Lewis switched side, and that was the end for Maritimo. After a tight passing in the area between Harris and DeLeo, the ball ended on Olgiati's feet who controlled it, beat the marker and scored the 3-1. There was also time for DeLeo to finally return to goal with a 4-1 from outside the area.

Overall another great performance for Panorama, but the injury list is becoming quite a concern for coach Kelly...
