Match Report Panorama completed an incredible season (on the tail of the previous season when they won the double) by destroying East Coast 7-1 at home in a one-way game from start to finish.

It's difficult to come up with new compliments for Kelly's team, a perfect mixture of young(ish) and experienced (very experienced) players. It's a team that works as an unit, pressing with a hard working 4-2-4 from the start, and relying on a mixture of speed and power to overcome any obstacle.

With Bezuidenhout returning after a 2 months absence , and Miles celebrating his 100th presence, there was a lot to celebrate. Kelly started the team with a solid 4-4-2, and for the first minutes East Coast managed to try to stay at par with Panorama. But in the space of 15 minutes Panorama took care of the game.

Almeida won a ball in the midfield and unleashed Olgiati, whose cross reached Bezuindehout's head for the 1-0. Few minutes later Almeida again won the ball and passed it to Atkinson, who waited for the keeper to be off his line before shooting from 25 meters and hitting the target with precision.

East Coast managed to pull one back when some confusion between Almeida (playing everywhere) and Wills ended up with the ball on their attacking player for a tap in that left Jeanes with no chances.

But their moment of glory was soon forgotten. Harris delivered a free kick that Thornton converted with power, continuining his hot streak and showing that there is hope in old age.

Just before the end of the first half the game was over when Olgiati won a ball on the righ wing, and then found Bezuindehout who scored with a precise shot just inside the area.

In the second half, with the 4-1 score, Panorama relaxed a little, but when they decided to push, East Coast suffered the worst.

Their poor form and sportsmanship left them frustrated when they hit a wall of hard tacklers, a wall made by Robson, Smith, Wills, Kelly and De Toit. No chance there, so they relied on improbable kicks from distance and some silly tricks in the midfield.

Then Lewis took a ball on the left from Miles, and danced between defenders before finally moving the ball on his favourite right foot and beating the keeper. Then Olgiati discovered his inner Roberto Carlos when got the ball just outside the area on the right, and shot with such bending power that the keeper decided to dive towards Randpark Ridge while the ball was moving to Ruimsig.

Finally there was the moment old people waited:  Miles won the ball and with all his wisdom accumulated in so many years on this planet found Thornton who made no mistake one on one with the keeper, celebrating a goal 105 years in the making.
