Match Report |
Panorama continued the good run of results with a convicing display (especially in the first half) and a 4-2 win against bottom of the log Old Parks. Missing key players (Jeanes, Bezuindehout, Stoychev and Atkinson), coack Kelly was forced to deploy Smith in goals and give a chance to a rotating squad. Just like 2 days earlier, Panorama started strong, attacking with intents from the kick off. After few close chances the 1-0 was scored in the usual Panorama's way, with a quick counterattack on the wings, when Olgiati, after beating the offside trap, passed to Kennedy who scored with a precise tap-in. Old Parks offered very little in the first half, and Panorama took advantage of another badly taken offside trap when Olgiati, once again, beat it and passed it for Harris, who managed to control the ball and beat the keeper after the first attempt was blocked. But it was not over, and on yet again another counter attack Olgiati completed his assist hat-trick by beating keeper and marker and passing the ball for Kennedy for the easiest of the goals. In the second half Panorama relaxed, but they still managed to score the 4th when Olgiati controlled Lewis' pass in the area, beat the marker and hit the opposite corner. With Dixon injured and Thornton forced to go on the defensive line, the game got a bit chaotic in the second half, with Panorama missing opportunity after opportunity (Kennedy had a good chance for the 5-0 but his toe-punt missed the mark) and Old parks scoring two in quick succession. Panorama held until the end and completed the third win of the season in 4 games. |
