Match Report |
Panorama returned to victory after last week's draw with a good performance and a convincing 3-1 win against Lenesia. From the start Panorama attacked with intention, and Kennedy got close to score after a pass by Olgiati. After few close chances, it was Dixon who changed the scoresheet after a precise pass by Kennedy was controlled and blasted from just outside the area, surprising the keeper on the short post. Soon after Olgiati scored the 2-0 when Thornton won a header that ended up at Olgiati's feet who had time to control it and beat the keeper. Jeanes and the back four (with Robson celebrating his 100th official game since the stats have being introduced, becoming the 3rd player to do so) had no issues controlling the game from the back, and Panorama kept dominating thanks to quick passing and running on the wings by Lewis and Olgiati. The 3-0 came just before the end of the first half. Atkinson passed the ball to De Leo who, from just inside the opponent's half, controlled and smashed it from 35 meters, celebrating his first goal for Panorama with a fantastic strike. In the second half Panorama took the foot from the accelerator, with Kelly thinking about the next game happening only 2 days later, and Lenesia managed to restore some pride by scoring the 3-1 towards the end of the game. Harris, Lewis, Miles and Thornton had a chance to score the 4th goal, but the closest they got was with a strike from the distance by Harris that hit the post after it beat the keeper. Overall it was a very good performance by Panorama! |
