Match Report Panorama won an important game away, edging them closer to the Division 2 title.

With the absences of Dixon and De Leo, and with a returning Stoychev sitting on the bench, coach Kelly adopted a 4-5-1 with Thornton and Robson as a defensive pair in order to deal with Maritimo's long balls.
Panorama started strong from the start, with some decent crosses from the wings, but Maritimo managed to cope with the pressue. Jeanes was rarely involved, getting a lot of protection by a physical back four (Wills and Kelly provided deep cover for the two central defenders).

With Maritimo playing a high offside line, it was only a matter of minutes before Panorama exploited their  lack of speed. Wills snatched the ball from their wing, and passed it to Harris, who unleashed a perfect long ball for Bezuidenhout, who beat two defenders with his quickness and found the corner with a precise shot when presented on a one-on-one with the keeper.

In the second half it was more of the same: Maritimo trying to play the ball from the back but relying on long passes, and Panorama winning the ball in the middle with Almeida and Atkinson, and then trying to attack as fast as possible. Stoychev had a glorious chance to score but decided to pass the ball to Bezuidenhout, who couldn't convert the tricky pass. Once again Stoychev, dominating on the wing, found Olgiati in the middle but his goal was ruled offside (it was not).

But Maritimo offered little in response, and Panorama walked away with 3 important points..
