Panorama continued the good run of results (8th game from the last loss) with a solid 2-0 win against Maritimo. They may have not played the best game of the season, but the domination was total, Maritimo had 1 shot on target towards the end of the second half, while Panorama controlled the situation with the usua solid back 4 dominating Maritimo's attacking players. And yet, it was (just like last week), a piece of magic from Olgiati that gave Panorama the lead. If last week he scored with his left foot from just outside the area, this time he didn't even wait to get there: after controlling a ball in the air, Olgiati unleashed a 35 meters left footer that removed the spiderwebs from the top left corner of Maritimo's goal, leaving the keeper with no chance. Panorama simply played the usual quick counter attacking game, with Stoychev and Olgiati deployed deep on the wings. Wills had a good chance to score the 2-0 but he hit the bar. Luckily, after a some confused passing in the area, Miles managed to find Wills who could not miss in front of the keeper. The 2-0 gave Panorama a chance to finish the league in 3rd position, something that was difficult to think only 3 months ago. And with the first round of the cup next week, they will want to continue the good run of results... |
