Panorama's cursed 2024 campaign continued with another frustrating chapter, marred by a combination of missed opportunities and a devastating injury.

There is little to analyze about the game itself. Panorama controlled much of the match, taking the lead through an Inward penalty. The team managed to hold off GPMI's attacks for longer than usual, only to concede a late equalizer from a header in the final 10 minutes. Despite a strong first half where the ball was distributed effectively and the defense remained solid, especially with Neale excelling on the left flank, the team's lack of finishing in front of goal proved costly. Olgiati squandered two promising headers, and Inward missed out on a potential hat-trick.

However, the most harrowing moment came in the dying minutes. Fisher, exploiting his speed, was brutally taken down in a reckless tackle by a GPMI player. The foul resulted in a horrific injury, leaving Fisher with a severe broken bone. The match was immediately halted as an ambulance was called, and Fisher was rushed to the hospital, where he underwent surgery to repair his ankle.

A few days later, the committee delivered its final decision:

The GPMI player responsible for the tackle received a lifetime ban from participating in any football match for any club within Gauteng or any other Local Football Association (LFA). His name and card number will be forwarded to the Rand Central Local Football Association (RCLFA) and he will be permanently blacklisted, with no mitigating circumstances. The GPMI club has not been implicated in any wrongdoing.
