Match Report Following the enforcement of mandatory card requirements, Panorama witnessed substantial roster adjustments since their previous match three weeks prior. The team celebrated the return of Gary Thornton after nearly six years (since May 30, 2014, against the now-defunct CS Maritimo), Jason Kennedy's comeback game since August 17, 2022, and welcomed newcomers: Graham Goldridge, Theo Jooste, and goalkeeper Patrick Fahey.

The lineup was notably missing Sizwe Mdunge, ending a 33-game streak, and Jacob Miles, who had appeared in 21 consecutive games. These significant changes posed a challenge for a team that needed to quickly integrate in preparation for their match against Sundowners FC 2, the replacement for Jozi Friends in the league.

Panorama initiated the game with intensity, narrowly missing the opportunity to lead by one or two goals in the opening minutes, but they finally succeeded when Lindsay, in what was his last game before undergoing another surgery, scored a penalty due to a clear handball.

Sundowners FC 2 quickly equalized to 1-1 following a poorly managed soft ball from the back. Panorama regained the lead through Graham Goldridge's first goal for the team, finishing off a pass from Goncalves. However, this lead was short-lived as Sundowners FC 2 leveled the score with a distant shot that caught Fahey off-guard.

In the second half, Liu stepped in as goalkeeper. Despite numerous substitutions, the game's pace stabilized, with neither team adding to their score. Panorama began to tally the injuries, and by the latter part of the second half, they were nearly devoid of healthy midfielders.

Nonetheless, it was Sundowners FC 2 who managed to pull ahead 3-2 following a rapid counterattack from a Panorama corner. Panorama mounted a robust comeback, shuffling every player across all positions until, from a corner, Thornton's header set up Lindsay for the equalizing goal, making it 3-3.

In conclusion, Panorama can take solace in securing a point (effectively two, courtesy of the double-header rule), aiding their steady progress in the middle of Division 1's table.
