Match Report Panorama started their quest in the League Cup with an important win away to Drunken Pandas.

Without any of the recognized goal keepers, Olgiati had to start a willing Liu in goals, with a very attacking minded 4-5-1 in order to keep the win the ball as early as possible.
From the start Pandas had very little to offer in return, trying to hang in after in the first few minutes Panorama already hit the post twice.

Eventually the deadlock was broken by Smith, collecting a ball by Olgiati on the outside and unleashing a precise shot for the 1-0. Soon after, from a corner, Smith managed to get the ball to Olgiati who scored after his first attempt was blocked.

The third goal was a one touched beauty started on the right, with Lindsay passing the ball to Olgiati who layed it to Bailey just outside the area for the 3-0.

Just before the end of the first half Pandas managed to score one back after a high bounce fooled the back line.

In the second half Panorama didn't leave Pandas any chances. The flurry of changes saw the team moving to a 4-3-3. a 3-5-2 and even a 3-4-3. With Swanepoel and Lindsay incredibly not scoring a goal (not for lack of effort), the other midfielders ended up scoring all the 7 goals, using the spaces created by the prolific duo.

Jansen finally opened up his account in the second half after collecting a pass from Sizwe, having his first attempt blocked and then smashing it on his second. Few minutes later Sizwe got fouled in the area and Bailey scored his second with a penalty (take twice for encroaching). And then the 6-1 came from another cross by Sizwe than ended up on Olgiati feet 25 meters out on the right, who unleased a pile driver that left no chances to the keeper.

There was also more glory for Smith, who, after opening the score earlier, decided to close it with another long range effort this time from the left.

Overall an excellent way to start the mini-league in order to gain access to the semifinals.
