Panorama played against Leeds, the league champions from last year, without many players available, but they were still able to field 17 guys, with the introduction of two new players on a trial (Hadjiapostolou and Brownlow). Richard Garrard returned after a long absence since September last year , adding important defensive options for a department that sometimes runs thin. Olgiati started with the usual 4-5-1, and in the space of 22 minutes the game was over. Panorama scored 4 goals thanks to a high line and an early pressure than Leeds couldn't initially cope with. Lindsay continued his scoring form with a tap in after an unselfish pass by Sizwe on the left. Olgiati converted with a thunderous shot from a tricky position after a beautiful pass by Goncalves found him in the area. There was glory also for Swanepoel (converting after Lindsay's shot hit the post), and more joy for Lindsay, with Swanepoel returing the favour and passing the ball for the 4-0. WIth the game set Panorama relaxed a little too much, and experimented as usual with players in different roles, giving a chance to everyone to showcase their progress. Leeds found some lost confidence and eventually pulled back 2 in the second half (one was an unlucky own goal by Benites) but it was too little, too late, and even if they dominated possession in the last 20 minutes, Panorama still had some chances to score the fifth. Overall it was a nice win for Panorama, who were challenged especially in the second half like they haven't in a while Some stats from the game:
