Match Report Panorama survived an early scare to come back and show a lot of fighting spirit and win 3-1 agains Sandton Warriors.

On a perfect night, with infinite possibilities thanks to a strong bench, Olgiati started the team with the usual 4-5-1, with Lindsay deployed up front and the returning Imbriolo in the middle. The back four for once was unchanged, with the excellent pairing of Egbers and O'Sullivan in the middle with Goncalves and Franz out wide.

After some early exchanges, Sandton found the 1-0 with a vicious cross that surprised Inward. Panorama should have gotten a clear cut penatly in the first half but the referees was nowhere to be seen.

Panorama took soon control of the game, by scoring the 1-1 with Bailey, and eventually the 2-1 after a fantastic one touch team move on the right, with Franz overlapping Olgiati and receiving the precise pass by Bailey after a 50 meters run, and putting the ball on the plate for Lindsay to score the 2-1.

With Sandton trying to work their way back in, Panorama continued counter attacking and got close to score numerouse times, only for the Warriors' keeper to keep the score at bay.

Eventually, after surviving a late effort by the opponents, with Inward taking care of saving the few attempts taken by Sandton, Panorama found another goal thanks to a great pass from Liu to Mdunge, who scored once again.

Some stats from the game:
  • This was the 7th game between the 2 teams, with Panorama winning the last 6
  • Panorama won their 3rd game in a row for the first time since May 2022 (after that they lost 4 in a row and 9 out of 10 during a harsh Winter League)
  • Both Bailey and Lindsay scored their 30th goal for Panorama, reaching De Leo in 8th place
  • Bailey also jumped to 7th in the overall goal+assists contribution for the team (only one behind Almeida)
  • Liu played his 10th game for the team, while Inward played his 65th, moving at par with club legend Veldon
