Match Report After the false start last week (the game was postponed because of the stormy weather), Panorama kick started their new adventure with a 4-3 win against Drunken Pandas.

Olgiati started the team with a 4-5-1 that soon became a 4-3-3, with Lindsay free to roam up front while the trio of Almeida / Liu and Imbriolo took care of the midfield. Drunken Pandas allowed too much space and in the space of 30 minutes Panorama scored 3 goals, thanks to a brace by Lindsay (both assisted by Almeida) and another goal by Sizwe (with Lindsay taking care of the assist).
In the back, Ho Lam and Benites (captain for the day) provided a new pairing that controlled the game quite easily.

Panorama though let Drunken Pandas back in the game when they started to relax, and after gifing them 2 goals, they managed to restore a 2 goal cushion with another goal by an inspired Lindsay, thanks to Miles' assist. There was also space for the debut of Solomon, joining the team for the summer league, the 35th player to play for Panorama in 2022!

Overall, with a team still in evolution, Panorama started the season with a nice win away

Some stats from the game:

  • Lindsay's hat trick took him to 29 goals (in 50 games), moving him on the 9th overall spot, passing Bailey with 28
  • This was also his first hat trick for the team
  • Miles' 19th career assit took him to the 11th overall spot, passing Goncalves
  • Also Miles reached 211 games for Panorama, moving to 2nd at par with Robson
