Match Report Panorama finished a disappointing season with yet another defeat. Once again after getting close to scoring, and due to some miracles by Highland's keeper, Panorama conceded two unlucky goals in the space of 5 minutes. In the first one, Garrard pulled the hamstring, leaving highland's forward to score in a one one one. In the second one Mushore couldn't stop a precise free kick.

Panorama reacted and Mdunge scored his first goal for the team with a great shot from just inside the area after a pass by Swanepoel. In the second half the 2-2 could have happened if not for a missed penalty by Lindsay. Highlands had more chances to score byt Mushore kept the score at bay, until on a counter attack they scored the final goal, after Panorama lost another player (Smith) to injury.

The match summed pretty much the season. Panorama fault valiantly, but got punished harshly in their best moment. At least this time the bench was full of players so there is maybe hope for the cup!

Some stats from the game:

  • Panorama finished the league with 4 points (1W, 1D and 12L, even if two of those were forfeits). The last time Panorama performed so badly was in the Winter League of 2017, when they got relagated (and bounced back with a promotion  to start a successive series of 5 league wins, even if the last one was interrupted by COVID).
  • Ryan Smith played his 61th game, entering the top 20 (unfortunately he seriously injured himself)
