Panorama couldn't prevent relegation but showed great signs of improvement in a very good display against a superior Global United team. Starting with a solid 4-5-1 and providing the debut for Mdunge on the left wing, Panorama played quite nicely, and got closer to score first from Olgiati's 30 yards shot. The back four was able to absorb most of the attacking threats provided by Global, while Inward in goal took care of the usual amout of miracles to keep the score even. Only towards the end of the second half Global finally managed to break the deadlock. In the second half Panorama did not crumble, and everyone in the rotating midfield (Bailey, Smith, Liu, Ho Lam and later Lindsay) kept an excellent positioning, forcing Global to play long balls from the back. On the wings, both Lindsay and Mdunge performed admirably, providing runs and crosses that Global struggled to cope. Eventually Panorama's pressure ended up with a goal, with Franz providing an assist for Smith who lobbed the keeper from outside the area. Global reacted and scored the 2-1, and this time Panorama was unable to respond, even if they got closer thanks to an acrobatic control and shot by Olgiati save by the keeper, and another long effort attempt by Miles, just brushing the post. While the relegation was in the air for a while (Panorama played most of the first half without a first choice keeper and enough players on the bench), the performance was probably enough to provide some sort of optimism for the winter league cup and the summer league.
