Panorama played their last game of the season against Red Dragons (with their new name Happy Deals) once again in an emergency formation. With more than half of the team missing for different reasons, Olgiati was forced to call up Furhi as a keeper from hsi 5-a-side league, and Garry De Klerk made his debut in midfield. Against an in-form team Panorama held quite well, conceding from a corner but scoring soon after with a great shot by Benites. Happy Deals / Red Dragon scored by takling advantage of Clive Smith's hamstring injury (which will probably side-line him for a while) and then scored a 3rd one from the distance. But Panorama kept their head high by playing a spirited second half and getting closer to scoring on a number of occasion, with Ryan Smith hitting the post and both Olgiati and Brown getting closer with headers. While the results was disappointing, Panorama showed glimpse of nice, passing football while still experimenting with the new formation. With the winter league starting next week, let's hope that they will recover at least 4/5 players... |
