UNDERTAKERS CRUSH VICTORIA TO REACH CUP SEMI FINAL

 

A cold, wierd away trip on a monday awaited The Undertakers and after a slow start, they managed to find their rythm and began stringing passes together and attacking down the flanks. Some good midfield inter play lead to the first couple of opportunities, but none were taken. 

Suddenly against the run of play Macca turned his compass upside down and played the best through ball of the night, in the path of the on rushing victoria striker, who had one touch and chipped Nicky oops, i mean Jeanes from the edge of the box.

The Undertakers were only behind for 5 minutes, when a good midfield move and attack lead to NUMBER 9 (Mark V) getting hacked down for a penalty.

Up stepped Mr Cool, Gazza, who hit a left footed Hot Shot Hamish drive straight down the middle.

Shortly after this, the victoria Godzilla, deliberatly clattered El Charlito (now know as) El Shoulder Bladeless. Yes it is broken and he will be under the knife tomorrow. GET WELL SOON BUDDY

 

Spurred on by this at half time, The Undertakers came out guns blazing in the second half. We created many chances down the flanks (wings) and managed to kill the tie off with 3 excellently worked goals in the space of 10 minutes.

First a superb first time flash volley from our new man Olaf after a great move and cut back by Greg, followed by a dazzling Gazza dribble with a pin point RIGHT foot drive which flew in. The final nail was driven into the coffin from 1 yard by Thabo after a great flowing move down the left hand side.

Final score 4-1

Bring on the semi final and well played to everyone last night. Lets win the cup for El Charlito
