Match Report In a strange turn of events, Panorama moved to the next round of the cup after a 2-2 draw at home against Balfour, who decided to leave the field after the 90th minute to protest against the unfolding of the game.

Panorama dominated, just like 10 days earlier, against a Balfour side that just decided to sit back and try to find a goal with a counter attack. After Jeanes was unlucky in the best chance of the first 20 minutes, when he couldn't convert from 4 meters, Balfour found a goal thanks to a misunderstanding between Thronton and Dixon.

Panorama, so used this season in conceading silly goals after not being able to convert the many chances up front, reacted in the usual way, maybe with a littl lack of composure but definitely by taking the game to a physical level that Balfour could not cope.

After a nervous 20 minutes though Balfour managed once again to find a goal that they were not looking for, from a mistake in the back.

Panorama came back in the second half with everything they got, and with the clock ticking the game got dirtier and dirtier, with the referee having trouble controlling it. Coach Kelly decided to confuse the opponent by switching to a never-player-before 3-5-2, by pushing Dixon in midfield, with Veldon in support of Mcconkey and Thornton. Olgiati was deployed as wing back on the left, and Morris ended up playing as a wing back on the right.

Desperation forced Panorama to make silly mistakes, especialling in handling the ball and controlling it. But from a long cross by Dixon, Veldon managed to convert with a great header for the 1-2 with 20 minutes to go.

Soon after Olgiati got injured and Miles got deployed on the right wing, while Stoychev went back to cover the left.

5 minutes before the end of the game, after a Balfour player tried to provoke Thornton multiple times, a fight started, with Thornton surrounded by 3 Balfour players. Some punches were blown and Thornton managed, in self defense, to parry most of the shots while releasing a hook to someone's random ugly face. Soon both teams got involved, and a Balfour player racially abused Miles, making the fight even worse.

The referee had no choice in giving 4 red cards to the Thorntons and 2 players of Balfour. Wiht only 1 minute to play, Balfour lost their mind when they hacked Veldon in the area, and when Veldon scored the equalizer, they decided that they had enough and left the field.

Panorama was willing to put the fighting behind and play the extra time, but Balfour's manager was adamant in leaving the game and letting Panorama get a home win.
