UNDERTAKERS A FORCE TO BE FEARED AT THE CEMETERY!
A great team effort against the Shrek look-alike Edenvale veterens on Wednesday evening, at the Cemetery saw the spoils unfortunately shared.
A blatant hand-ball secured a 2-2 draw for Edenvale, who have only lost once thus far in the 2013 season. The Undertakers played some slick 1-2 football, mostly keeping it on the ground and at times making the Edenvale defence look non-existent.
The Undertakers played well at the back bringing the midfield into play and the 5 across the middle managed to create some exciting opportunities going forward. Blatant missed chances by Jay-Bone could have meant a fairer result for the mighty Undertakers, but sadly, it was not to be.
The plus point of the evening was having El Charlito back for a Home match and he ran out worthy man of the match after making 6 WORLD CLASS saves, mostly one v one. Jeanes was on cup duty with the PFC FIRST team and El Charlito deputised to perfection (albeit he gave away the first and second goals) but he was forgiven in fines!! Well done on MOTM (no photo attached)
All in all, it was a super duper Undertakers performance, and hopefully the side can build on the last two performances and kick the shit out of Dainfern next week. 5 Nil should be a fair reflection, but let us not get ahead of ourselves..
